Questions and answers
Carbon, ceramic or oil heater: which is best?
Carbon heaters give instant heat to the people in front of them and use the least power. Ceramic heaters warm all the air in the room quickly and hold the temperature with a thermostat. Oil radiators take longer to warm up but give steady, silent heat, which suits bedrooms and long hours.
Which MODEX heater is best on a generator or amp supply?
Choose a low-power carbon heater, such as the 800 W MODEX CHR1090, the 900 W MODEX CHR1060 or CHR1050, or a 1000 W model. Many heaters also have a low setting, for example 400 W on the CHR1090.
Can I use a heater in the bathroom?
Only use a heater made for bathrooms. The MODEX PTC6100 has IP23 splash protection and a towel rail. Do not use other heaters in a bathroom.
Are MODEX heaters safe with children?
