Questions and answers
Which MODEX fan works during power cuts?
The rechargeable MODEX CFA900 (up to 12 hours) and MODEX CFA1400 (about 1–10 hours, depending on speed) run on built-in batteries. Low-power fans such as the 36 W bladeless fans and the 45 W table and wall fans are also easier on a generator or a limited amp supply.
What size fan do I need?
14–16 inch fans suit small rooms and desks, 18 inch fans suit medium rooms, and 20 inch fans suit large rooms. A 56-inch ceiling fan moves air around a whole room. For shops and halls, choose the 135 W MODEX FA1320 or the MODEX AC998 air cooler.
Air cooler or fan?
A fan only moves air. An air cooler passes air through wet cooling pads, so the air comes out cooler. Air coolers work best in dry heat and in a room with some fresh air, which suits the Iraqi summer.
Are bladeless fans safer?
Yes. MODEX bladeless fans have no exposed blades, so little fingers cannot reach them, and the smooth body is easy to wipe clean.
